Are you an aspiring young leader who wants your voice heard? Do you feel unrepresented in the decision-making of world leaders when it comes to pressing global issues? Join us for this virtual, international youth-led conference on September 20, from 9 AM - 12 PM EST!

The Your Voice, Your Future International Youth Summit is an initiative led by UNIS students (see the "Exhibitors" section to meet our team!) in collaboration with the IB Festival of Hope (FOH); It is aligned with the UN Summit of the Future. The purpose of the Youth Voice summit is to encourage dialogue around meaningful youth engagement topics. In particular, through the lens of SDG 4, this Youth Summit brings young voices to the table in conversations shaping global education policies and issues including climate change, peace initiatives, and overall sustainability practices- as identified by the SG's Youth Envoy and programs like Youth for SDG's. Unlike other youth-centered events, this summit will have a tangible outcome.

This summit is entirely created and led by UNIS students. Following a series of interactive programming, guest speakers and collaboration, we aim to:

• compile a report based on inspiring stories of youth participants being leaders in their own communities.

• draft a proposal centered on youth engagement and pledge to take ACTION(s) for the Pact of the Future including: Social Media campaigning through a variety of channels, youth attendees presenting summit highlights at their respective schools, and proactively sharing real-time updates of tangible actions taken within their communities.

• intend to follow the virtual engagement with in person presentations to the UN and educational stakeholders.

These are just some of the actions that we will instill in participants in an effort to inspire and mobilize more youth engagement!
