Snap Teen Council (Europe)

Deadline: Mar 28
Eligibility: Teen ( Europe)
Description:

Snapchat is accepting applications for our Council for Digital Well-Being in Europe, a year-long program for young people in Europe between the ages 13 and 16. Sufficient proficiency of English reading and writing skills is required.

We are eager to hear from Generation Z as to their strategies for thriving online, promoting strong digital well-being, and continuing to make Snapchat a more enjoyable place for connection and creativity. That’s why we’re launching this council in Europe: to gain diverse perspectives from teens on the state of life online today, as well as their hopes and ideals for even more positive and rewarding experiences.

Interested teens, between the ages of 13 and 16, living in Europe should complete and submit this online application by 17:00 CET on 28 March 2025. Any applications received after that deadline, or falling outside the prescribed requirements for the program, will be ineligible for consideration without exception.

In addition to some basic information, the application calls for either essay or video responses to questions about social media use and online life generally, as well as expectations for the council experience, and experience with and views of the Snapchat app and Snap as a company. All personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will be limited in use to administer the program.

The program will feature monthly calls, project work, an in-person summit at Snap's office in Amsterdam in the first year, and a more public event in the second year, showcasing the teens’ knowledge and learning. Travel costs for these types of events will be covered by Snap.
